A: TABQUIK.com is TAB’s newest web-based, on-demand label printing solution.

 

Q: How does TABQUIK.com differ from TQWeb?

A: TABQUIK.com provides greater support and stability for running on Windows operating systems.  It offers a superior user-experience, by providing an up-to-date and easy to use interface.  Accounts are accessed readily and individual users can manage their preferences, which are saved upon exiting the system.

 

Q: Will there be training available for me?

A: We have provided an easy-to-follow video which outlines the easy steps to use TABQUIK.com.  You can also schedule a WebEx training session by contacting the TABQUIK Support Team; this is an additional cost.

 

Q: What is required to use TABQUIK.com?

A: Hardware requirements are: 

·         Color printer

 

     Software requirements are:  

·         Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher (REQUIRED **)

·         TABQUIK.com ActiveX control *

 

*TABQUIK.com will require an initial installation of the Web site control component.           

** TABQUIK.com uses ActiveX technology which is only supported by Microsoft® Internet Explorer.

 

Q: Does TABQUIK.com have to be accessed from the same computer?

A: No.  TABQUIK.com is web-based and can be accessed from any computer meeting the system requirements.  However, program specific settings, such as alignment and preserved data, are saved on a per-machine basis.

 

Q: What reporting features does TABQUIK.com provide?

A: TABQUIK .com provides a variety of basic reporting features, such as label design print history, print inventory history, and user accounts listing.

 

Q: Can other users access my data?

A: No.  Your data resides locally on your computer; no data is transmitted via the Internet or attached to or saved on your TABQUIK.com account.

 

Q: With TABQUIK.com, will my data still be secure?

A: Yes!  User data will never leave your PC, of travel over the Internet in any way.  TABQUIK.com will also utilize SSL to encrypt your label design information as it is downloaded.

 

Q: What data options are available in TABQUIK.com?

A: TABQUIK.com allows for data to be manually entered in a data grid or imported from other formats, such as a SQL database, a delimited text file, or Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.

 

Q: What about my firewall or other stringent network security?

A: TABQUIK.com was designed for use in most environments.  The local machine/user requires the ability to install the ActiveX control.  If network security does allow for this installation, check with your local IT/IS department.  If this cannot be granted, the TABQUIK desktop version is recommended.

 

Q: Are multiple TABQUIK.com accounts required for multiple company locations?

A: No.  TABQUIK.com allows for multiple users per company account.

 

Q: Can I match my existing label’s color-scheme?

A: TABQUIK.com offers a robust color matching tool which enables you to customize your colors to an existing color scheme.

 

Q: How do I design my own labels?

A: All label designs, including revisions, will be completely handled by the TABQUIK Support Team; no training is necessary.

 

Q: Is there a trial available for TABQUIK.com?

A: A trial is available via the TABQUIK.com website directly.  The trial will provide all of the functionality of TABQUIK.com, but will place a watermark on any printed labels.  To access the trial, click the “Try It!” link on the homepage.

 

 

Q: Once I sign-up for TABQUIK.com, how long will it take until I can begin using it?

A: We will process your order within 48-hours.  Once you receive the order confirmation, you can begin entering or importing data and printing your labels.

 

Q: When will TABQUIK.com be available?

A: You can order TABQUIK.com now; it will be available on July 1, 2011.
